Links with the Community and beyond.
As an independent community church we are not affiliated to any of the main Christian denominations.
We
are a member of
Partnership UK
which is a support network, to encourage
and strengthen local churches.
We
are delighted to support the
Teen Bridge Project which is a Devon based
Christian charity setup to build bridges between the church and the
teenagers on our streets and in the schools.
We have links also with Christians Together in Teignmouth and we share in all of the events arranged by them.
We are pleased to have a good relationship with the New Road Area Community Association (NRACA) in whose hall we hold our services. We have arranged special services for the NRACA and we support them whenever we can. We have been responsible for the refreshments at their Summer & Winter Fairs for a number of years now.
We
also have an excellent relationship with
Teignmouth Pre-School
who also use the hall on a regular basis. We are always ready to help on
a practical basis and to provide a Christian input when asked.
We have a number of church members who work voluntarily in the local Hazeldown primary school and we have helped the PTA with their summer fair.
Looking further afield we have strong links with El Shaddai (The Child rescue charity).Anita Edgar who is a co-founder of this charity worships at NTCC when she is in the UK.
